Does chronic constipation limit tour life? If so, you are not alone. Millions of adults in the United States suffer from the condition. A clinical research study for individuals with chronic constipation is currently seeking participants. The purpose of this clinical research study is to determine the safest and most effective dose of an investigational medication for the symptoms associated with chronic constipation. You may qualify for this study if: You are 18-75 years of age (male or female), and you have chronic constipation. Qualified participants will receive all study-related medical care and study medication at no charge.

Menopause.....Hot Flashes and Night Sweats but no hormones!

Hot Flashes? Post-menopausal? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study to test the safety and effectiveness of an oral investigational medication for women experiencing on average 7-9 moderate to severe hot flashes per day or 50-60 per month. In addition, you must be over 40 years of age at time of your first visit and either: have not had a period for at least 12 consecutive months or; did not have a period for at least 6 months and meet the biochemical criteria for menopasue (this is determined through standard laboratory tests) or; have had both ovaries and fallopian tubes removed (with or without hysterectomy) greater than 6 weeks ago. Study participation lasts approximately 3 months and requires approximately 5 visits to the doctor and 6 phone calls from the doctor's office. All study-related office visits, medical examinations, and the investigational medication will be provided to qualified participants at no cost.
